I like the initial looks of embeetle, but don’t want to set up another host just for development. Are there any plans to support Mac OS - preferably ARM µprocessor - going forward?

Yes, we have a plan to support Mac OS, definitely, but the timeline is not yet fixed. We will update you on any progress on this topic here and probably post on our website when it’s released.
